Synopsis
Battery Limits define the liability boundary between two areas of an industrial complex or plant. Thus, all equipment, instruments, piping, and accessories within a Battery Limit are the responsibility of the contractor, supplier, or property owner.

Definition of Battery Limits is essential to simplify, facilitate, and coordinate the execution of an engineering project, impacting the design, operation, maintenance, and safety of the various process units.
