Why would you chose the141mile training plans?

There are multiple (good) reasons why to choose the141mile training plans. See some of them below:

They are the result of 14 years of triathlon experience from our Head Coach (11x IRONMAN, +100 competitions), who has built up his triathlon career from Super Sprint distance all the way up to IRONMAN World Championship in Hawaii (what only happened when he started to be his own coach). Working for others first, being an entrepreneur later, two small kids around. Own practical knowledge shared with you now.

They have been designed and engineered by an Engineer (from background).

There are structured workouts for all BIKE and RUN sessions. We do not recommend structured workouts for SWIM and S&C. Multiple things may happen in the pool or gym that hinder following rest periods. You do not need additional stress there.

Key workouts are highlighted every week to focus on them in case there is not sufficient time availability.

All workouts are specific for each fitness level.

Training load is progressively increasing. Together with recovery periods, this minimizes danger of injuries and guarantees proper assimilation of training benefits by the athlete.

Depending on the level of the athlete, workouts have different references to measure intensity: pace, power, heart rate, RPE.

There is a glossary of terms to help you through the indications given in the workouts.

Besides indications for every workout, there are explanations of training goals for every microcycle of training (per week).

There are frequent additional notes and tips (weekly or daily) to maximize workouts performance and athlete progress. Varied topics: fueling, rest & recovery, strength & conditioning, mental skills, etc.

Fitness tests for swim, bike and run are properly distributed along the plan to have the right follow-up, without oversaturating the athlete.
