Synopsis
Battery Limits define the liability boundary between two areas of an industrial complex or plant. Thus, all equipment, instruments, piping, and accessories within a Battery Limit are the responsibility of the contractor, supplier, or property owner.
A proper design of Battery Limits is essential for the execution of an engineering project, impacting operation, maintenance and safety of the various process units.
